If I were good at painting,
I would paint you like the Mona Lisa:
beguiling & smiling so mysteriously.
If I were good at sculpting,
I would sculpt you
into the shape you always wanted,
and you’d finally be happy with yourself.
If I were good at feelings,
I would tell you how much you mean to me,
how much I value you being in my life,
and how much I am going to miss you.
But I am only a writer,
so I will try to put this all down in words
and hope you somehow understand.
