Frozen
Today I dreamed I was freezing.
I could feel my organs slowly
begin to shut themselves down.
I could feel myself go insane,
as my mind screamed for warmth
and my fingers turned blue.
I felt myself go numb,
my lungs collapsed,
my hearing faded & my vision blurred.
And then –
I couldn’t feel at all.
